Project thinking

Quality and progress belong together.

A completed task and an approved task can tell two different stories.

A programme shows what should happen. An inspection record shows what has been checked. Looking at either alone leaves a gap between delivery and assurance.

A useful project view keeps both visible. A package might be installed but waiting for inspection; another may have passed its checks but still require supporting documents. These are different next actions, and the system should make that distinction obvious.

Start with three questions: what is complete, what is accepted, and what evidence is missing? Agree the definitions before designing the dashboard. Clear language is as important as the technology.

Make room for clarity.
